It is a pretty important question to ask in the Marvel Cinematic Universe who was the first man to have had s*x in the MCU? Although the universe has been kept PG-13, Robert Downey Jr. and Charlie Cox must have missed that part.
One of the earlier MCU movies, Iron Man saw the character of Tony Stark as a womanizer while Cox’s Daredevil had to perform the Walk of Shame in She-Hulk, fans of the MCU are in a heated debate as to who was the first man.
Was It Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man or Charlie Cox’s Daredevil?
The MCU started with Robert Downey Jr. portraying the role of Tony Stark aka Iron Man in 2008’s Iron Man. In the movie, the character is seen as a genius philanthropist who’s also a womanizer and is surrounded by women until he meets Ms. Pepper Potts.

In 2022, the MCU released She-Hulk: Attorney at Law which included a brief cameo from Charlie Cox as Daredevil. Sleeping with Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters in the show, Daredevil performs the infamous morning Walk of Shame back to his base with his boots in his hands. In a tweet on X, a person congratulated Matt Murdock (Daredevil) for being the first man to have had s*x in the MCU. Naturally, a debate ensued.

For those people who may have forgotten, Tony Stark gets interviewed by a news reporter following the alleged use of Stark Industries for weapons. The camera quickly cuts away to Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man on a bed with the reporter. Well, clearly Iron Man is indeed the winner since he was the first character to have s*x on-screen! But if we are speaking chronologically, the honor goes to Ikaris and Sersi from Eternals.
When Robert Downey Jr. Was Advised To Restart His Career!
Being a veteran actor known for portraying several iconic roles throughout his career, Robert Downey Jr.’s life has been quite the rollercoaster. From being an addict to finding worldwide fame, Downey Jr. recently received a Golden Globe for his performance in Oppenheimer. In his acceptance speech, the actor addressed how he had been once told to restart his career to make it big (via X).
“To my fellow nominees, let’s not pretend this is a compliment. This is a first time, it’s more of a most improved player thing. For my dueling career counsels, they had the gall to say I needed to restart my career.”
He further continued,
“It is self improving agents right. Speaking of motivators, my primary caregiver right there, Susan Downey, she has literally made an art out of extracting me from my comfort Zones, that I need to feel safe! But she’s easy on the eyes, so whatevs.”
Well, the veteran actor had no need for a fresh restart as Downey Jr. made his way up the ladder of success in Hollywood ever since 2008. And on a more personal note, Robert Downey Jr. was indeed the first person to have s*x in the MCU.
