Madame Web was a huge disappointment for Marvel fans. It had an exceptional cast of actors, including Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Adam Scott, and Emma Roberts. On top of this, the film was an entire project centered in the world of Spider-People, and the last project to do something like this, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, was extremely successful.

Fans Found a Way to Save Madame Web

Madame Web introduced Ezekiel Sims as its antagonist, a man who not only made it his goal to kill three of the protagonists from the film but was also responsible for the death of Madame Web’s mother. While the film was a huge failure in the eyes of the audience, it did manage to create a very interesting and powerful villain.

So much so, that fans want to see him fighting another extremely powerful villain, who has also been killed in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. The character is none other than the symbiote, Riot; the villain of Tom Hardy’s Venom. There are more than a few similarities between these two characters, with the biggest being who they are in their foundations.

Sims is a wealthy man, who is power-hungry and will do anything he can to get what he wants, much like Riot’s host. Riot finds his perfect match in Carlton Drake, the CEO of the Life Foundation and a billionaire who will stop at nothing to ‘help’ humanity evolve.

The Battle Would Be One For the History Books

Considering the similarities between Riot and Ezekiel Sims, the comparison between them was inevitable. Many fans took to X to talk about how they thought these two characters would be a perfect pair of a match. It is truly up to chance on who will win a battle as epic, as even fans found it difficult to agree on a clear victor.

Some believe Riot to be the clear winner, not only because he is a powerful alien, but also because he is the most powerful alien from his species. Some fans of this character even found it insulting for him to be paired with Sims.

On the other hand, many fans believe the symbiote to have far too many weaknesses to be able to win a fight with a character as smart and strong as Sim. Fire and sound are two of the easiest things to be used to defeat the alien. On top of this, they even added that the Madame Web character’s poisonous touch and the intensity of oy would give him a great advantage against Riot.
