Now, fans are waiting for the actor to once again shine in the role of Luffy in the second season of the live-action adaptation. However, there is one problem. No one knows when the creators of the series and Netflix are going to release the second season as no dates, trailers, teasers or any kind of update has been provided since the announcement.

During the premiere of Netflix‘s new live-action series, Avatar: The Last Airbender last month, Godoy made an appearance at the red carpet event and was asked by the reporters whether he could share any updates regarding the upcoming season. However, unlike Tom Holland, Godoy avoided the mistake of giving out spoilers while talking about the second season.

Iñaki Godoy Avoids Spoiling One Piece Live-Action Season 2

During the premiere of Netflix‘s Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action series, Deadline asked Iñaki Godoy whether he could share some information about what is going to happen in the One Piece live-action season 2. While everyone hoped that just like the Spider-Man actor Godoy might reveal some spoilers, the Luffy actor knew what he was getting into and avoided the classic mistake.

He stated:

“I guess I can say a little bit. I can tell you that it’s all a secret and we cannot say anything. Ah, that’s all I’m saying. I just can tell you that I’m just so excited to get back to production and uh if you see the anime you kind of probably know what’s next and I’m just so excited. It’s just going to be so much fun.”

According to Godoy, although he could not reveal much about how the events of the second season for the live-action will unfold, he can say that he is very excited to get back to the set and meet everyone. He also stated that the One Piece anime fans probably know what’s going to come next in the One Piece Live-Action season 2.

Iñaki Godoy’s Road to Success After One Piece Live-Action

Since the first season of the live-action One Piece series, Godoy’s popularity has grown and he has earned his place in the forefront of media attention. At the age of just 20, he shot to fame across the globe and did a great job in the course of his career.

Being able to portray the legendary figure of Monkey D. Luffy, one of the most well-known anime characters ever, is extremely significant for actor Godoy. His journey is similar to that of the Spider-Man actor Tom Holland, who, just like Godoy, got a chance to play the iconic role of Peter Parker and thus became globally famous.

Both actors representing such big franchises at such a young age are truly admirable and their future holds many more great performances and much more love from the fans. Although Holland has already established his place in the industry by giving great performances one after another, Godoy is just getting started.
