At the moment, the next big thing that is being eyed by the world is the development of James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DCU.
Therefore, in a race to decode the franchise even before its proper introduction, the internet has been filled with theories regarding the main antagonist of the upcoming Superman.
All of this guesswork by fans has confused people as to who the main villain of the upcoming film might be, and since The Suicide Squad director has been sticking with updating the fans about the film starring David Corenswet, he has decided to clear the air once and for all.

“The primary protagonist of Superman is, shockingly, Superman. The main villain of Superman is, shockingly, Lex Luthor. I don’t know where all the stuff is coming from that it’s something other than this. There are so many stories coming out every day it’s difficult to deal with and everytime I strike something down I’m giving it attention. So, I’ll say again, don’t believe anything unless you see it HERE (& why would you want to know everything before the movie comes out anyway?)”
Thus, by putting facts and information about Luthor’s presence in the upcoming film out there on the internet, the filmmaker seeks to clear the mist that has covered fan’s minds.
