During his recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Josh Brolin shared that although he has seen Dune: Part Two a few times, he saw it again recently in theatre. He shared that he “snuck into Lincoln Center Dune yesterday” to watch the film.
The actor explained that he had seen it a few times, including an early version, and with fans in Mexico. And every time Brolin noted enthusiastic reactions from the audience, particularly whenever Zendaya’s character, Chani, appeared on screen. “Every time Zendaya comes up, it’s like Taylor Swift has showed up in your living room,” Brolin shared.
Josh Brolin shared his delight in witnessing the communal experience of the audience’s immersion in the film. “It was an amazing experience,” he shared. The Sicario actor further mentioned the audience was so absorbed in the film that no one even bothered to notice if he was in the theater with them.
The actor humorously noted the depth of the audience’s immersion in the movie, suggesting, “I could have said, ‘Hey, I’m hosting SNL this next week. Does anybody care?” only to receive no reaction from the audience of the talk show.
Remarking on how even the talk show’s audience was so immersed in discussions about the film, he humorously remarked, “Literally nothing.” The Dune star is set to host the SNL for the third time on March 9, accompanied by musical guest Ariana Grande.

Brolin, who has maintained a stylish presence throughout, quipped about the lack of attention when it comes to his own red carpet-attire. “Nobody gives a f*ck what I’m going to wear. Unless I’m in a tutu and a leopard-skin thong,” he said, suggesting that it might make everyone talk about his red carpet looks as well.
