A lot of hope was mounted on the possibility of bringing the beloved title to PC, but it seems that this dream won’t be realized anytime soon.

For those unfamiliar, MediEvil is a quirky action-adventure game originally released for the original PlayStation console. It follows the story of Sir Daniel Fortesque, a skeletal knight on a quest to defeat the evil sorcerer Zarok and save the kingdom of Gallowmere.

Being able to experience the classic on PC excited many players, offering the chance to revisit a beloved classic with updated graphics, smoother gameplay, and potentially even modding support.

This declaration has left fans feeling crushed and disappointed. Many had hoped that the success of other PS ports to PC, such as God of War (2018) and Gravity Rush 2, might pave the way for MediEvil‘s arrival on the platform. These hopes have been dashed, at least for the time being.

While there is a ton of disappointment, there is still a chance that this situation could change in the future. After all, the behind-the-scenes development process is tumultuous, and anything could happen.

Besides, the wait won’t be too bad! Just ask those waiting for a Bloodborne port.
