Masashi Kishimoto Can’t Remember Most of the Scenes

During an interview in 2015 by Apple – Meet The Creator, Kishimoto was asked how he kept the story straight for as many years as the story and how he remembers every aspect of the series. Kishimoto stated that he doesn’t keep all in his head and he feels like he has forgotten most of the characters and their stories. He said:

“So Actually I don’t know if I do keep it all in my head. I feel like I have forgotten more than I have stored. I remember a lot of dramatic scenes I have drawn or like the splash scenes and I remember in particular there was one blank page that I once had and that I remember as well.”

Masashi Kishimoto’s Pattern of Making A Story Panel

Kishimoto also explained that he tries to keep the panel simple and easy not only for him but also for his fans abroad as the reading pattern and order are very different everywhere else. He said:

“In terms of the overall panel layout, I try to keep it simple, especially after hearing about all my fans abroad, mainly because the reading order is different in Japan versus abroad.
