Batman has perhaps one of the greatest rogue galleries in comic book history, having iconic characters like The Joker, The Riddler, The Penguin and Hush. It is no wonder that Joker has come into his franchise, one that will not be starring another classic Batman character: Harley Quinn.

However, it seems Todd Philipps’ Joker sequel has The Batman-Part II beat in one aspect. According to recent rumours, it seems that another famed Batman villain will be making an appearance in the Joker Sequel, and it’s not Harley Quinn.

Apart from Harley Quinn, who has been confirmed to be making an appearance in Folie à Deux, there seems to be another Batman villain waiting in the wings to make an appearance in the story. There have been a few set photos that depict some placards that could make an appearance in the film, with the words ‘Dent is a Clown’, pointing towards the introduction of Two-Face, who could make an appearance in the story.

Previously, the character was also rumored to be a part of The Batman-Part II, along with a host of other members of his Rogue’s Gallery, like Professor Pyg, Scarecrow, Clayface and Hush. However, at least when it comes to the latter few, Gunn has denied that any of them will be making an appearance in the film, responding to a post on Threads, pointing at Pyg, Scarecrow, Clayface and Hush. However, there is no indication yet whether Two-Face will make an appearance in the story, whether as Harvey Dent or as the notorious Batman villain.

All we know is that the upcoming Penguin series set in the Reeves-Verse, will explore the fallout of The Batman. Whether the show will lead directly into the sequel is yet to be seen, given that Pattinson will most probably not be a part of the project.

Along with all the rumors of various members of Batman’s Rogues Gallery appearing in The Batman: Part II, there was also a rumor floating around that the second film instalment of the Reeves-Verse will also introduce Dick Grayson, the first Robin. It has been over two decades since Robin has shared a screen with Batman in the films, where it has always been an either-or scenario in the live-action space on the small screen. An age-accurate Robin has also never existed on the big screen.

However, Gunn, again on Threads, has confirmed that Robin will not be a part of the film. It is doubtful that Dick Grayson will make an appearance as a civilian either, as the implication will simply be too big to be just an easter egg that is not delivered immediately.
