And rightfully so, the Australian thespian played the role of Logan for 17 years and established himself as the face of the character for an entire generation. Dedicating himself to the role of the Marvel mutant, Jackman inculcated some serious changes, like that of his accent.

While Hugh Jackman is a proud Aussie with a remarkably sophisticated fluency, Logan aka Wolverine, had a more Canadian accent. Truth be told, although Jackman is quite habituated to changing accents as an actor, he credited Johnny Depp for his impeccable delivery of dialogues in the most flawless Canadian accent.

After portraying the role of the comic-book superhero, Wolverine, Hugh Jackman further returned for the 10th film in Fox’s X-Men franchise, Logan (2017). Marking the end of his 17 years of dedication to the character, Jackson inflicted some action and brought out his claw-popping alter ego for one last time.

Joining the original X-Men in 2000, Hugh Jackman‘s popularity appeared synonymous with Wolverine, a feral mutant with a metal skeleton and a tormented past, who lived under the name Logan. The actor associated with a comic-book character or fantasy franchise delivered some great scenes and earned his fans’ appreciation.

However, there’s a lot that went into his role apart from just the action sequences. The biggest challenge that the actor faced was changing his Australian accent. Jackson who is a proud Aussie remained true to his fantasy character Logan, who had Canadian roots and therefore delivered the dialogues in a flawless accent.
