Tons of anime are in their final stretch, with Jujutsu Kaisen being one of them. The fan-favorite anime has everyone riled up with its season 2. Even though there are still a few episodes left, the ongoing season has been nothing short of an emotional rollercoaster. With the deaths of popular characters, Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 is surely one of the saddest highlights of the year.
The sadness of the fandom seems to be never-ending, with the anime slowly reaching its end in the coming year. The mangaka revealed it, and it has been eating the fans from the inside. One of the things that the Jujutsu Kaisen fans are fearful of is that Satoru Gojo might not return if the mangaka decides to wrap everything up within such a short time.
Satoru Gojo Might Remain Dead in Jujutsu Kaisen
During Jump Fiesta 2024, Gege Akutami said that it will probably be the last Jujutsu Kaisen Jump Fiesta while it is still in serialization. This has created a buzz among the fans who believe that Gege Akutami might be ending the manga soon. Considering that the legendary mangaka said to Weekly Shonen Jump magazine about finishing their magnum opus in 2023, it is quite a possibility that they will look to wrap it up in 2024.

Which means Gege thinks JJK will most probably end before December 2024. So my interpretation is that manga will still go for another 8-10 months pic.twitter.com/RlPPwU4SKX
But the ending is the thing that the fans are scared of. They are afraid of the fact that with Jujutsu Kaisen nearing its end soon, there might not be enough time to revive Satoru Gojo. Satoru Gojo vs. Ryomen Sukuna was one of the highlights of 2023. Unfortunately, the former lost the battle as well as his life against the King of Curses. There were several rumors about him coming back since his head was still intact.
The manga is still going on a full flow and there might be several revelations by the end of the story. Yuji Itadori will look to finish what Kenjaku had started. But the fans fear that with Gege Akutami too focused on wrapping up things, the thought of reviving Satoru Gojo might be left behind.
More on Jujutsu Kaisen
Jujutsu Kaisen has garnered millions of fans within a few years of its debut. The story has a grip over the fandom, and Gege Akutami carefully created several fan-favorite characters to attract more people. But that might soon end with the manga nearing its end. The Culling Games will continue for a few more months. So, until then, the fans might still have the slightest hope of seeing Satoru Gojo standing on his feet.
Gege Akutami had previously said that they did not like Gojo. So, bringing him back will be a miracle. The Jujutsu Kaisen fandom wants the Culling Games to end, but more than that, they want to see their favorite character back. If Gege Akutami keeps their promise, then time is of the essence, and the fear of a Gojo-less ending will become a reality.
Jujutsu Kaisen is available on Netflix and Crunchyroll.
