It’s been a few weeks since readers of Jujutsu Kaisen experienced a character’s death. So, of course, Gege Akutami felt like the manga was getting dry and let Sukuna use a ‘Flame’ technique. Rest assured, Sukuna will either severely hurt or kill someone in chapter 259 with his flames.
It’s time for another person to die; this time, the sword of Gege’s whim is pointing toward Takuma Ino. Yes, Ino is a mere secondary character, but he carries Nanami’s blunt sword which has easily put him in the line of execution.
Will Sukuna Kill Takuma Ino?
Sukuna’s Flames has just put all the surviving Jujutsu Kaisen characters back into the field of danger. Just when they thought they had the other hand, Sukuna pulled out another move, and Takuma Ino might be the next target.
Takuma Ino is a grade 2 sorcerer who used to be a close associate of Nanami Kento. In fact, he currently uses Nanami’s Blunt Sword. Ino uses it during the battle against Sukuna in chapter 247. Ino jumped in to help others and has also shown significant kindness, positivity, and leadership skills.
In fact, Takuma is very optimistic, something that Jujutsu sorcerers rarely possess. He is one of the characters who would jump in front of another person to save them from a fatal blow. Or he could simply become a target due to how annoying he is to Sukuna on the battlefield.
Why is Takuma Ino a Prime Target in Jujutsu Kaisen?
One of the main reasons Sukuna might target Takuma Ino is the weapon he inherited. Nanami’s Blunt Sword is no laughing matter as the cursed tool is imbued with his Ratio Technique. This allows Ino to enhance his powers while striking. He can hit the weak spot of his victim at a ratio of seven to three. In fact, the weapon also survived a direct kick from Sukuna.
A simple cursed tool would not be able to handle the impact, and the sword’s presence on the battlefield is definitely a hindrance. Sukuna might want to get rid of Ino just to get the sword out of his sight.
Ino is an extremely strong character who has led Yuji and Megumi into battle and coordinated with them. According to Nanami, he could easily become a semi-grade 1 sorcerer if he wanted to.
Not only is he experienced in hand-to-hand combat, but he also possesses extremely high cursed energy levels and can summon four auspicious beasts. All in all, Ino is a force to reckon with in fights.
However, almost everyone will agree that he is not stronger than the King of Curses. In fact, the only worthy resistance of the sorcerers has been cut in half. Sukuna might either intentionally wipe Ino off the field or make him a victim of a mass attack.
