Gege Akutami has immersed the viewers in a well-crafted storyline involving curses, compelling characters, and astonishing fights. The characters written in the series have managed to become popular among the fans quickly, and one of them is Okkotsu Yuta, a second-year sorcerer at Jujutsu High.
Unfortunately, his final moments will likely arrive soon, as a popular Jujutsu Kaisen theory states that Ryomen Sukuna will devour Yuta in the upcoming chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Okkotsu Yuta might not last long in Jujutsu Kaisen
Gege Akutami’s magnum opus, Jujutsu Kaisen, has reached the peak of its popularity, and even people who are not accustomed to anime have heard about the series at least once. Whether it be Nah I’d Win memes or the Lobotomoy Kaisen agenda, Jujutsu Kaisen has taken over the anime community.
The story authored by Gege Akutami is currently in its final stretch, with all the powerful characters involved in a fierce battle to take down Ryomen Sukuna, who is dog-walking the Jujutsu sorcerers. Sukuna is running the gauntlet like no one has seen for a long time and is trouncing his enemies with a smile.
Sukuna’s victims include Ishigori Ryu, Gojo Satoru, Kashimo, and Mahoraga, and according to a theory, a new member will be added to the list, and that is none other than Okkotsu Yuta, who is in his second year at Jujutsu High.
It’s not a good time for Yuta stans, as a popular Jujutsu Kaisen theory suggests that Ryomen Sukuna might eat Yuta due to Gege Akutami’s comment in 2021 and the fact that Yuta/Rika has consumed the remaining finger of Sukuna.
Will Sukuna devour Yuta in the upcoming chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen?
Ever since the demise of Gojo Satoru, fans have realized that their favorite character is not safe in the story, and Gege Akutami wouldn’t give a single thought before killing the character if it meant progression for the story.
The one who carries the emblem of hope in the Jujutsu world after the death of Gojo Satoru is Okkotsu Yuta, who is deemed the second strongest sorcerer of today behind his sensei. However, fans fear that he will join his sensei, as a theory suggests that Sukuna will devour Yuta.
In 2021, Gege Akutami mentioned a very vivid sentence stating that he had a hunch that Ryomen Sukuna might eat an essential character to death. Still, after that, it was never picked up again until recently, when all the dots started connecting.
As you may know, either Rika or Yuta is rumored to have consumed Ryomen Sukuna’s last finger, and if we assume that Yuta was the one who ate it, the King of Curses wouldn’t mind eating him to retrieve his power.
Adding to the theory, in chapter 248, Sukuna mentions that the Spirit-possessed brat will be the main meal, and in the next chapter, he calls Yuta the Spirit-possessed brat.
With his last finger being consumed by Yuta/Rika and Gege Akutami’s comment about Sukuna eating a character, all the points lead to Yuta, who is currently engaged in a fierce battle with the King of Curses and might be his next meal.
You might be aware, but Ryomen Sukuna is Itadori’s biggest hater. He would do everything to humiliate him; he might just take a bite of Yuta if it meant giving more trauma to Itadori Yuji.
