Juno Temple’s Respectable Reason Behind Her Quick Exit From Ted Lasso
In a recent interview with Variety, Juno Temple revealed she opted for a swift exit from her fan-favorite role as Keeley Jones in the popular comedy series Ted Lasso. She claimed during the interview that she left the role quickly because she did not want to have prolonged goodbyes with her character, Keeley Jones which would have made it much more difficult for her to leave the role.
“I had to finish that job so quickly and then start “Fargo” so quickly that in a weird way, I’m actually quite grateful for the fact that I didn’t have a long window of goodbye with Keeley — because I’m obviously going to miss her.
She was a really happy person to play, even though she had her complicated moments and went through a lot, too. She’s somebody who wants everybody to feel the best they can that day. That was a very precious character to have gotten to play for three years.”
Her emotional attachment formed after years of embodying Keeley and bidding farewell to a dear character and close-knit cast can be emotionally taxing. Simultaneously, Temple also had to start working on Fargo, which currently is one of the most hyped shows, with her being the show lead. Temple also stated that she cherished portraying Keeley as she was a very happy person to play.
