Juno Temple Talked About The Difficulties of CGI In Venom 3

With the character of Venom being entirely made and moved with the help of CGI, actors like Tom Hardy must have had problems in the past while pretending to talk to air. With Juno Temple joining the movie Venom 3 in an undisclosed role, it seems that the actress wasn’t that comfortable with green screen acting.

Acting with lookalike sets and costumes is the natural thing. Acting in front of a green screen while talking to a green puppet and pretending it is an alien symbiote is a tougher level of acting. Speaking in an interview with Varietyactress Juno Temple remarked about joining Venom 3 and indirectly alleged that green screen and CGI acting is indeed difficult!

“I’m learning lots. It’s fun and interesting, because there are so many things that you film that when the movie finally comes out will look different to what they were when we were filming them. I’m excited to see the creations that happen off camera, too.”

Tom Hardy has already found himself comfortable with green screen acting and wearing a mask to tell a story by starring in Christopher Nolan’s films! The actor revealed that although he wore a mask, the important part was to make the audience see the difference between the two characters!

Starring in iconic movies throughout his Hollywood career, Tom Hardy has often been spotted wearing some or other kinds of masks on his face. With his character of Max in Mad Max: Fury Road to Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, the actor has a mask on his face. Working alongside veteran director Christopher Nolan, Hardy revealed in an interview with EW that the hard part was making the people see the difference!

“The two characters, they were pretty easy to slip between. The complicated part was to make an audience believe it wasn’t one performer doing both parts.”

The characters that Hardy was talking about are Bane from The Dark Knight Rises and Farrier from Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk. We do agree with Tom Hardy and Juno Temple that green screen acting and acting behind a mask certainly adds a little more complication to the task of acting. Venom 3 is currently set for a release date of 8 November 2024 in theaters across the U.S.
