The ‘Manga We Want to See Animated Ranking’ poll took place on March 22, 2024, and helped determine the seventh edition of AnimeJapan’s esteemed list. After breaking the top ten of most-read manga, Kagurabachi broke into the top ten manga list from AnimeJapan. Even though Kagurabachi has massive popularity, it only managed to grab the seventh position. There were a total of 103,473 votes cast to determine the list.

Kagurabachi is only the seventh, and there are several manga that are more popular than the action-adventure one. Kagurabachi has come a long way since its inception, but it has still a long way to go. Fans are hopeful that they might soon hear the creators announcing its anime adaptation. The manga that topped the list is Hami Nakasora’s Shinanonchi no Ikuru.

AnimeJapan’s List Has Several Hidden Gems

AnimeJapan’s top ten list has nine other manga apart from Kagurabachi. All of them are hidden gems, and the manga readers could give them a try. Apart from Shinanonchi no Ikuru, there is Shogakusei Emamoto Emumi no Katte Kimama Life, which revolves around a kid. RAB no Nichijo Egaitemita by Maron is also a popular manga that might soon get an anime adaptation.

Kagurabachi had to face 49 other manga to make its place on the prestigious list. There were no particular genres, so the poll proved quite well-competed.

But after determining the votes, Takeru Hokazono’s magnum opus maintained its status as one of the most fan-favorite anime. Not only Kagurabachi fans, but others are also excited and eagerly waiting for all the manga on the list. So, the animation studios might soon become busy with too much work.
