MCU’s What If…? Season 2 has brought about some really exceptional superheroes, one of which includes the recently-made fan-favorite character, Kahhori. Since she is a new character who debuted in the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe through her recent What If…? appearance only, there has been a lot of buzz among fans about who she truly is and what she can do.

What If…?’s Kahhori Is More Powerful Than What Fans Expect

Kahhori is the recently introduced character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, who directly made her big screen debut through the animated series What If…? instead of first appearing in Marvel Comics like every other character. Thus, the only information available on her is what has been revealed through her appearance in the series.
First debuted in the sixth episode of the currently ongoing second season of What If…?, i.e. “What If… Kahhori Reshaped the World?” showed the indigenous Mohawk woman becoming a superhero because of the Tesseract. This happens when she gets sucked into the Sky World by touching the Tesseract which was lying at the very bottom of the underground lake in her village.
As shown in the series, she gains the superhero powers because she gets exposed to the lakewater where the Tesseract falls in. Since the way she acquired her superhuman abilities was indirectly similar to the way Carol Danvers did, i.e. through an Infinity Stone that was the Tesseract, it would be safe to say that her powers are similar to that of Captain Marvel as well.
Furthermore, What If…? also showed her to be able to teleport, levitate enormous and extremely heavy objects, manipulate weapons and even humans, and even form incredibly strong shields. What’s more, is that when the indigenous superhero activates her powers, parts of her body and her eyes turn into a bright, vivid shade of blue.
Adding to these powers is the fact that she can not only cause small-scale explosions, but she is also as brilliantly fast as lightning and exceptionally acrobatic, with an immense level of durability supporting her as well. All of this was perfectly displayed during the scene where she went looking for her brother, Wáhta.
Connecting all these dots, it would be safe to say that Kahhori is yet another extremely super-powerful hero introduced in the MCU — someone who can’t be defeated by just anyone.
3 MCU Characters Who Might Be Able To Defeat Kahhori
1. The Scarlet Witch
As interesting as Kahhori is, it would be equally interesting to see her fight Wanda Maximoff, i.e. the Scarlet Witch, and maybe, just maybe, end up losing, considering the massive powers that the Scarlet Witch possesses.
Not only can Wanda hold telepathic abilities and the power to manipulate reality as well as the probability of events happening in the near future, but she also holds the power of telekinesis, which allows her to move objects as well as create massively strong shields to protect herself from her opponent’s attacks.
Then there is her most powerful trait: her witchcraft abilities, which could further give her the upper hand in any battle with Kahhori, irrespective of whichever one of her superhuman abilities the latter decides to use.
2. The God of Stories Loki
While Loki may have been powerful before, the conclusion of his recent superhit series, Loki, showed him as one of the most powerful beings, if not the most powerful being, in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The incredible superhuman strength that this advanced and progressed version of Loki holds along with his immense durability, shape-shifting abilities, and teleportation and telepathic abilities will only make him one step ahead of Kahhori in their battle together.
Moreover, his mystical knowledge as well as his skilled hand at magic just like the Scarlet Witch further adds to the plus points he would hold while fighting Kahhori. Thus, it may be concluded that he might be able to easily defeat the Mohawk superhero.
3. Odin in his Prime Form
While many wouldn’t have expected to say Odin’s name here, the former ruler of Asgard actually holds a possible chance at defeating Kahhori on the battlefield… in his prime form.
Because of the superhuman abilities he possesses, which include his brilliant superhuman strength, durability, and stamina, coupled with his power to manipulate both energy and reality along with his ability to teleport and use telepathy, he could pretty easily have the upper hand while fighting the indigenous superhero.
Further making him more powerful would be the Odinforce, which is, in simple words, a source of tremendous magical powers. As seen in the comics, the Odinforce even allows the adoptive father of Loki to perform magic beyond the capabilities of any other character in the MCU, thus making him way more supreme on the battlefield than Kahhori.
Judging from all these traits of all the above-mentioned characters, it would be truly fascinating to watch these superheroes fight MCU’s newly introduced fan-favorite character, Kahhori.
