Kathryn Hahn found worldwide fame when she starred in the role of Agatha Harkness in the iconic 2021 MCU show WandaVision. Portraying the iconic role of a witch with her roots in the Salem Witch Trials, the world loved Hahn’s portrayal of Agatha Harkness.
It seems that even 3 years after the show, the actress and the world are still not over WandaVision. With an intriguing storyline at hand, Kathryn Hahn also allegedly indirectly paid tribute to the MCU show during a recent interview appearance.

At the red carpet event of the Emmys, the team of THR interviewed Kathryn Hahn about any updates on her spin-off Agatha: Darkhold Diaries. The interviewer remarked how the Emmys marked 75 years of awards in television series and passed the mic to Hahn.

The Bad Moms actor replied that it was indeed a celebration. Continuing the interview, Hahn talked about her favorite TV series while growing up and her favorite genre is pretty much similar to WandaVision.
“Really so many Norman Lear shows when I think about it. All of his sitcoms and the way made you laugh and also think at the same time and feel like hope and change were a part of the conversation while you were laughing.”
She further continued,
“Those shows were the ones that stuck with me. Like the fact that I could be laughing and also feel like (gasps with surprise) ‘Is this okay?’ at the same time were really titillating and also felt very anarchic and radical.”
As the fans might have guessed, Kathryn Hahn’s ideal show sounds exactly similar to the plot of WandaVision where the series starts as a normal sitcom but (in her words) feels “very anarchic and radical” towards the finale of the series!

While shooting WandaVision, the finale sequence of the series involved Elizabeth Olsen and Kathryn Hahn battling it out. Well, since Hahn had quite a heavy costume, the actress revealed in an interview with Variety that she had to take big bathroom breaks!
“When it was just the two of us working on the finale………… She was very patient as it took me like a solid 40 minutes to ’10-1’ … which in the movie business, is to urinate. I had a lot of costume on, and a very small bladder.”
With a high rating of 7.8/10 on IMDB and a whopping 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, WandaVision is available to stream on Disney+ in the U.S. As for Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, the series is slated to release in late 2024 with no release date confirmed.
