PUBG is the original Battle Royale game that, back in 2017, started a whole sub-genre that later became one of the most played across all platforms. This game, now owned by Krafton, has many versions and is available on several platforms.
One of the versions of the game is PUBG Mobile, which aims to be very busy in the following months regarding their eSports division. Through the South Korea competition, a slot into the PMGO Brazil will be available for the winner.
PUBG Mobile has a very great roadmap ahead for eSports
Krafton has put in a lot of effort to create a very rentable ecosystem for PUBG Mobile. The South Korean company has announced a new roadmap for various tournaments of PUBG Mobile across the globe. Countries like Brazil and South Korea. Many events are coming in the next few months that will determine qualifiers and spots at a global tournament coming at the end of the year.
South Korea will be the principal country for this roadmap, with multiple official tournaments. PUBG Mobile Pro Series (PMPS) will begin with Season 0 in South Korea and will result in a slot for the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) in Brazil. Two more tournaments of the PUBG Mobile Rivals Cup (PMRC) are back in South Korea. This will all begin in March and finish at the end of the year.
The complete roadmap for PUBG Mobile eSports
March 1 to 3 will be the PUBG Mobile Pro Series (PMPS) Season 0, and the winner of this tournament will have a spot in the PMGO that will be in April. Once finished, the PMPS will begin Season 1 in April and May. June will begin the PMRC with the best eight teams from South Korea and Japan. July will have the PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI), with teams all across the globe going to Saudi Arabia for the tournament. Late July and August will be the PMPS Season 2.
September and October will mean the start of PMPS Season 3, and a new PMRC will be celebrated. To end the year with a massive prize of 3,000,000 dollars. Teams from all over the world will be competing in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship.
This will be a very busy year for Krafton and PUBG Mobile. The mobile version of the homonymous Battle Royale has a very large community with events all the time. Krafton knows how to manage their fans and give them the content that they want.
