After quite the hiatus, KSI returned to the spotlight by going for a casual stream for his fans. However, it wasn’t until an hour into the stream that his IP address got leaked, causing an immediate change in flow and reaction from the streamer.

The Sidemen founder quickly resolved the issue, and the response to all of this has been a mixed bag from the community. There’s no solid reason why any of this happened, but it did put KSI in a position that’s usually tough to handle on the spot.

KSI’s Comeback Was Met With an Online Troll

After years, the celebrity came back to the spotlight with a stream.
After years, the celebrity came back to the spotlight with a stream.

At the moment, the famous FIFA streamer KSI is a man practicing many talents. From turning into a boxer to becoming a rapper, his YouTube account alone holds over 40 million subscribers. Streaming was common for him a while ago, but it’s been close to ten years since he went back to the channel and did an official stream. It’s been a while since, and fans were eagerly looking forward to this moment.

However, the momentary happiness was short-lived. Within an hour of the stream going live, a user managed to hack KSI’s IP address. This came as a shock to the streamer, and he let everyone know immediately:

God dammit, guys. My IP got leaked. I got to end the stream. I’m sorry. I’ll see you lot in a bit.

Fortunately, his conviction wasn’t shattered completely, and he came back online in a short while, joking about the ‘technical issue‘ being resolved. While all of this ended well, none of what really happened was taken well by the community.

Eager fans were distraught that KSI’s first stream in years became a target for internet trolls. What’s worse is how common things like swatting and IP address hacks have become in the streaming community. The very discussion of this causes an uproar on multiple platforms.

KSI Will Continue to Shine Despite the Minor Hiccups

A jack of all trades, the online personality has been involved in various other outlets.
A jack of all trades, the online personality has been involved in various other outlets.

Things started to grow for Olajide Olayinka Willams ‘JJ‘ Olatunji (better known as KSI) when the worlds of sports and music came together for the talented soul. In the last many years, he has owned and pioneered multiple business chains, music albums, and even managed to craft a successful YouTube gaming channel focused on FIFA and other titles.

Given his heavy involvement in the music and boxing communities, it was natural to see him take a departure from the usual streaming and hop into another venture. Which in turn made the recent stream twice the attraction for everyone who joined in, even though things may have gotten a little awkward.

Despite the problematic IP address hack, it’s unlikely that KSI will stop streaming at all. Or, take another long break.

However, this is just speculation, and we’ll have to wait for another one of his streams to go online. This time, fortunately, a random online troll will have better things to do.
