The BTS Pictures Shared by the Duffer Brothers Have Left Fans Teary-Eyed

Since Season 2, Lucas and Max have shared an on-off relationship, with the fourth one finally seeing them reconciling things before Max was sent into a comatose state by the end of it. And following the BTS pictures shared by the Duffer Brothers, in which Sink and McLaughlin can be seen laughing, the director confirmed: “this is a pic of Sadie [Sink] not Max. Max is in a coma”.

In the second image, they can be seen holding hands, and fans were reasonably touched by the images, especially after noticing a Kate Bush tape on the bedside table. Following the impact of Running Up That Hill in Season 4, the song that helped Max escape Vecna, seeing Lucas bringing her a tape of Kate Bush as he stayed by her side was enough to make fans emotional.

It remains under wraps whether Max will get out of Coma in the final season, but considering the Duffer Brothers didn’t kill her off in the last outing, chances are she might.

The Production of the Duffer Brothers’ Stranger Things 5 Is Set to Last the Entire Year

Linda Hamilton, who has been cast in an undisclosed role in Stranger Things Season 5, recently dashed hopes of fans expecting to see new episodes by the end of 2024. Per The Terminator Star, the production of Stranger Things Season 5, which was previously delayed following the double Hollywood strike, is set to last the entirety of 2024. She told Business Insider:

“It’s a year of shooting, so I couldn’t be happier. Their season takes a year to shoot, which is just an unheard-of luxury of time. But the size of their day is also so beyond any scale that we’re used to.“

Addressing the theories on what character she is set to tackle, with some speculating an Older version of Eleven or a CIA operative, Hamilton hilariously said “All of it’s true. I confirm everyone’s theory is correct”. But following the expected duration of its filming, it’ll be a long wait before fans get to see how things end up between Lucas and Max.
