Fortnite‘s popularity never ceases to come down, and every passing year the game has only become bigger and better. The title has seen several successful collaborations, giving gamers a never-ending list of reasons to keep playing. Continuing the trend, LEGO partnered with Fortnite, and the game released a LEGO Fortnite game mode earlier this month.
As with most Fortnite collaborations, LEGO was an instant hit soon after release. A series of screenshots have leaked from the game mode, giving gamers an idea about what to expect in the coming days, as LEGO Fortnite is rumored to be getting guns and bows among other weapons.
Guns and Bows Coming Soon to LEGO Fortnite
LEGO Fortnite has become an instant hit among its players, but in terms of weapons, players only had a crossbow to play with. As with the next update, a few more options are rumored to be added to the game.
Well-known Fortnite leaker, FNAssist has posted screenshots on X from the upcoming LEGO Fortnite update. The update is said to bring a Stud Gun, a Gravity Gun, and a Bow and Arrow as well. In his first post about the update, FNAssist revealed a Stud Gun and a fully automatic, flexible assault rifle that can handle all types of combat scenarios. It’s classified as a “Ranged Weapon” and is said to require ammo if it’s not infinite.
The next post was about a Gravity Gun which is described as being useful to “grab things and throw” at enemies. The gun is also reported to come in three variants, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. This could be a gun that brings even more chaos to the game, giving players the ability to pick up and throw some destructive objects. Finally, there’s the Bow, which FNAssist hasn’t reported in detail, saying it might have been a test weapon as there’s not much details available about it.
Until an official announcement is made by Fortnite, there’s no telling when these will get added to the game or if they will get added altogether. The ongoing Winterfest in Fortnite is giving players 14 free gifts including two unique Christmas-themed outfits. The gifts can be collected from the Quests tab every day.
LEGO Fortnite is Here to Stay
Along with the LEGO collaboration, Fortnite also launched Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival, and Fortnite recently clarified all three modes are here to stay. There have been limited-time modes in the past, which led many players to argue over whether or not LEGO Fortnite will continue beyond the holiday season.
LEGO Fortnite brought a survival mode to the game, where players embark on an adventure just like most survival titles. Players scour for resources and build their village from scratch. Now that LEGO Fortnite is here to stay, it’s not a bad idea to bring more weapons to LEGO mode.
Among the best weapons in the game of which a LEGO version could be brought into the LEGO mode, there’s the Hyper SMG, which has a high rate of fire and can be heavily modded as well. Next is the Ranger Pistol, which is also similar to an SMG given the high rate of fire, but in a Pistol form. The Ballistic Shield could also be brought into LEGO Fortnite in a way to give players something that’s not easily destructible and could give players an edge.
Fortnite players can also get LEGO skins, which are LEGO versions of skins available from the Locker menu. Going back to regular Fortnite will see players finding the normal skins in the game. LEGO Fortnite is also expected to get more NPCs in the coming days.
With more weapons and NPCs, LEGO Fortnite will continue to be even more popular in the coming days and bring more ways for players to try the mode. Rocket Racer in Fortnite has also gained huge popularity as the Rocket League collab has brought in a bunch of cars for players to choose from. The Multiplayer, Battle-Royale title continues to be one of the most played games, especially this holiday season.
