Leonardo DiCaprio proved his might as an exceptional actor ever since he got his big break with Titanic. And since then he has been unstoppable, delivering wonderful performances across genres. As for Denzel Washington, anybody who has seen him in action knows what a formidable action hero he is.

And perhaps that is why DiCaprio openly admitted to his Django Unchained co-star Jamie Foxx that he is terrified of the Hollywood Legend Denzel Washington. In 2018, the Equalizer star sat down with Foxx for Thrillist’s Off Script interview, where Foxx revealed,

“Leonardo DiCaprio told me one day, he says ‘You know what pal you know who I am scared of? Denzel, buddy. Because he looks like he really knows this sh*t, he looks like he’ll fu**king tear your trechea out or some sh*t.'”

This earned a laugh as even Washington couldn’t counter this claim. Well, DiCaprio isn’t entirely wrong for even though Denzel Washington is an amazing actor and an even amazing human being off-screen, watching his dark and intense characters could make anyone run for their lives whether they have done something bad or not.

Denzel Washington and Jamie Foxx have been friends for a long even though they have never collaborated on a movie together. When they sat down together for Thrillist’s Off Script interview, Foxx had an interesting story to tell, which only somewhat proves DiCaprio’s statement that Washington knows this stuff.

“You was at Roxbury one day, back in the day… you don’t remember this. But I literally ran across the street and tried to hug you. But you did some kind of move (illustrating the elbow strike block technique)… I’m like ‘Man, I’m just trying to give you your props, D.'”

To which Washington just laughed and tried to defend himself while at the same time exclaiming that he tends to do this when people approach him. This just proves that the American Gangstar actor is a force to be reckoned with.
