As soon as you get to Mount Qaf in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you’ll realize that time and space have seemingly been broken, with various timelines diverging and intersecting. General Ardashir’s men may have only entered the Citadel the night before, yet for them, decades have passed. Cursed to spend eternity trapped, it’s up to you to release them of their misery.
You’ll have to find the locations of all 8 lost warriors and the General himself to defeat them in battle and grant them the dignified death of a true soldier. Use this guide to find them all and complete The Lost Warriors side quest in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
The Locations of All 8 Lost Warriors at a Glance
Find Nojan in the Lower City
The Lost Warriors side quest kicks off when you find Nojan in the Lower City early in the game. You’ll find him sitting on the ground in a corridor southeast of the Haven. He will tell you the story of the curse and ask you to find his men in arms to defeat them in battle and release them.
After accepting the side quest, you can go to the locations of all 8 lost warriors in any order. You’ll recognize them by the large sword, spear, and shield they carry. After defeating each of them, they will give you their individual Insignia of Persepolis. Remember to pick these up manually with the left thumb stick.
1. Hyrcanian Forest
You’ll find one of the lost warriors in the Hyrcanian Forest, southwest of the Wak-Wak tree. Cut the vines with a charged attack (hold Square) to access the area behind it where the warrior will be waiting. Defeat him and get his Insignia of Persepolis.
2. The Depths
One of the locations of all 8 lost warriors is in The Depths. You’ll find him west of the Scrapper’s Hideout, next to the large elevator. Defeat him, while avoiding the venomous bugs, and pick up his Insignia of Persepolis.
3. The Jail in the Sacred Archives
One of the lost warriors is locked up in jail. You will need to have defeated the jailer and obtained the Holy Scholarship Key to be able to release him. This is part of the main story mission, so you won’t miss it.
Once you have the key, head to the eastern area of the prison and unlock the top prison cell. You’ll find the lost warrior inside.
4. Old Royal Road
To be able to access the next location, you’ll need the Holy Scholarship Key again. Use it to exit the jail through the western main gate and head towards the western end of the map. This is Old Royal Road, the area where you started the game. Another lost soldier will be waiting for you here.
5. Pit of Eternal Sands
Another of Ardashir’s men can be found in the Pit of Eternal Sands. After jumping through the portal from the Sunken Harbor, head towards the east. Take the upper path to find the lost warrior at the end of the room. Defeat him and remember to pick up his Insignia of Persepolis.
6. Catacombs in The Depths
You’ll find one of the locations of all 8 lost warriors in The Depths in the room north of the Catacombs fast-travel spot. You’ll need the Shadow of the Simurgh Chakram upgrade to access this location. Jump and teleport up the path where you see the three faces on the wall and head west.
You’ll have to defeat a wave of enemies first to unlock the door. Behind it, you’ll find the next lost warrior on a platform.
7. Upper City
One lost warrior is locked in a building in the Upper City. From the Night Temple fast-travel spot, jump onto the next lower platform, then head into the building. You’ll be able to drop into the area of the warrior from above.
After defeating this powerful soldier and his feline sidekick, the door to your left and right will open, and you’ll obtain his Insignia of Persepolis.
8. Tower of Silence
The last of the locations of all 8 lost warriors is in the Tower of Silence. Use the Fabric of Time to jump up through the small tunnel where the boulders are coming from to enter the area above. Head all the way across to the east to find the eighth soldier.
Once you’ve been to the locations of all 8 lost warriors, you’ll receive mission orders from General Ardashir, requesting you to meet him in a secluded area in the Lower Citadel. A new marker will appear on your map.
Fight General Ardashir
The quest will lead you to a secret room in the Lower City, south of the Haven. Your path is blocked by several gates, but fret not. You can use your upgraded Chakram to teleport yourself through and access the room below.
There, you’ll meet General Ardashir himself. Fight and defeat him in one last battle to grant him a dignified death in combat as well. After fighting him, you’ll be rewarded with a Soma Tree Petal, Xerxes, and crystals.
