By the end of this guide, you’ll know the locations of all FNSM requests and have two trophies for your trouble, one relating to the final request at the bottom of this guide, and another for completing all of them.

Little Odessa

‘Rooftop Fireworks’

In the center of the district on a roof you’ll see two well-meaning citizens launching fireworks into the sky, in remembrance of a deceased relative. An unfortunate accident occurs and you’ll be tasked with swinging across the city to the nearest hospital with one of the two men on your back.

After dropping him off, he’ll suggest you take a look at the suppliers of the shady fireworks that put him in the hospital. They can be found top right of Little Odessa, as shown below.

A brief stealth section later, or a normal combat section for some, you’ll be tasked with dumping the dangerous, and now-lit, fireworks into the river. A few throws and webshots and you’ll be rewarded with a beautiful fireworks show over the river, commemorating the NPC’s late brother.

‘Graffiti Trouble’

Again in the center of the district, but this time on street level you’ll find Nikola, a business owner who suffered some unfortunate graffiti before a kind citizen (Hailey) graffitied over it.

A flashback will occur where you take control of Hailey – pay attention to the audio, or lack thereof – and go to buy some flowers. Finding an incandescent Nikola, you’ll be tasked with fixing the graffiti with something far better.

Once that is fixed you’ll be sent to cover another. Same as before, use the haptic feedback on the controller to control the paint, and after a few seconds, you’ll be done.

Lastly, you’ll look in the distance and see the culprit in action, tagging yet another wall. A short journey involving broken wooden planks, an inquisitive cat with a Spider-Man doll, and some elevator platforming and you’ll be able to confront them.

A brief text conversation later and you’ll end the side mission incredibly wholesomely, and a new friend, plus you’ll have helped out a cute cat get their favourite toy, and that’s what Spider-Man is all about, right?

Astoria

‘Monster in Queens’

In the top right corner of Astoria in the middle of the suburbs, you’ll find Alma, an elderly, blind woman who needs help getting rid of a ‘monster’.

Head to the backyard and scan the gnome, and the tracks behind the gnome, before happening on a pool of… something, and a destroyed fence. Scan the puddle and complete the molecular mini-game.

Follow the traces until Peter remarks about the trail ending, and then look across the small stream and scan the footprints and then the pool of gunk behind the abandoned car. Again, follow the traces it provides. Eventually, you’ll come to a car park/construction yard and find the culprit, a hunter drone.

A quick upload from Ganke later and you have your own drone Dog to play with, while he digs around and finds some answers. An audio file hints at something quite nefarious, but as usual, things go wrong when a couple of air drones turn up and scare your new mechanical dog, and you’ll be trying to stop him from running away.

A little bit of concrete surfing and you’ll end up at a church. Dispatch the hunters and you’ll then find yourself back with Alma, with Fido in tow. You helped the dog drone and an elderly lady in one go. Good job! Unfortunately, this is the last time we’ll see Fido in this guide to the locations of all FNSM requests.

Downtown Brooklyn

‘Find Grandpa’

Right in the middle of the district, you’ll come across Tasha, a stricken and worried woman who has managed to lose her Grandpa. After a short conversation, she hands you a photograph that her Grandpa has been staring at, telling you it may lead to where he’s gone.

Head over to the zoo and you’ll find a love letter left on a planter. Now you’ll be sent to the Botanical Gardens. If you look past the circular section you’ll find Grandpa’s inhaler on a plinth, pictured below.

After a quick mini-game, you’ll now have a traceable path to follow. After following the path for what feels like forever, you’ll come across Grandpa Earl sitting on a bench, staring out into the lake.

Midtown

‘Photo Help’

Way up high you’ll find a woman taking pictures of the people below her. She shares that she’d love to be a proper photojournalist like Peter Parker is showing a front page cover from years prior. Comic fans will recognize this as an imitation of Amazing Fantasy #15, which is Spider-Man’s first appearance.

A flashback occurs and we’re now a younger Peter on a push bike, racing to meet J. Jonah Jameson in the hope of selling off his photos.

As you’re subjected to a unique type of hyping-up from your future editor, you’ll come across someone getting mugged in a park. Fight the muggers – without any Spidey tech – and return to the bike. You’ll find the bike and photos trashed.

Now head the short distance to the Daily Bugle and meet J. Jonah Jameson, and thus, start your career as a photojournalist. Mostly just taking pictures of yourself.

Back in the present day, your conversation with the budding journalist concludes with a simple task. Give her an action shot.

Financial District

‘Howard’

At the bottom left of the Financial District, you’ll find Howard – the same Pigeon-loving Howard from the first game -, sitting on some steps staring out into the distance at the passing ships. He’ll invite you to sit down with him, and a deep and meaningful conversation will occur.

Howard asks you to take his pigeons up north so they can see more of the world without him, as he prepares for his own adventure. You’ll find yourself leading a group of birds along the coast, underneath Brooklyn Bridge, and all the way to Queens to drop them off.

During the last moments of the trip with the pigeons, Howard calls, sounding peaceful and happy to hear his beloved birds would be well looked after and lead the life he so desperately wanted them to. The call gets cut short, and thankfully Spider-Man decides to use the close-by train to fast-travel back to Howard. Unfortunately, as we return we realize not all is well, and Spider-Man says goodbye to his friend for the final time.
