After the release of the 2021 Nic Cage starrer Pig, the demand for the National Treasure actor has soared way up in the sky. With offers as high as 4 million dollars, the fans want to see Nic Cage adorning the theatre screens once again.

And who could be better than another iconic actor from the 90s making his appearance with the Ghost Rider actor, as fans demand Brendan Fraser to return along with him. Brendan Fraser is known famously for portraying the role of Rick O’Connell in The Mummy franchise and Prof. Trevor Anderson in Journey to the Center of the Earth.
Both the actors had been seen donning the screen less and less frequently as Hollywood started catching up with the younger generations and the classics were forgotten…until this moment. The Dying Careers of Nic Cage and Brendan Fraser
Though it is sad to admit, both the veteran actor’s careers are at an impasse as neither of the duo is getting fame more than the younger set of actors. Nic Cage was last seen in the Academy Award-nominated movie Pig (2021) in the lead role. Brander Fraser was recently seen as Charlie in Whale (2022). Both movies have been praised for their unique storytelling and both actors received much praise for their skills.
Although the actors had successful careers during their time, they lost touch with popularity as the younger generation slowly took over Hollywood. Brendan Fraser was last seen in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2013) which disappointed fans to a great degree. Although the news of a movie tie-up has not been made official, any studio might pick up the idea as it is a very likely possibility, and make a movie in the future.
Pig (2021) is available to stream on Hulu while The Whale is slated for a release on 9th December 2022.
