The Tokyo-based video game creator has been obsessed with movies and cinema and often gives pretty unusual reviews on his official social media profiles about the various movies or series he has watched. In a new documentary, Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds, Kojima stated about his love for movies,

“For me, films are the sun. It’s like a plant’s photosynthesis with sunbeams. I want to receive its beams to stimulate my cells and to inspire new creations.”
