Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight proved to be one of the most unique entries among the MCU shows. The series delved into a character dealing with dissociative identity disorder and the revaluation of a superhero identity within him that serves an Egyptian God. May Calamawy also played a pivotal role in the series playing Isaac’s wife in the series, who later becomes the superhero Scarlet Scarab.
On the second anniversary of the show’s release, Calamawy posted a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos of the making of the show on Instagram. She thanked her fans for loving the show and encouraged them to always be kind and compassionate to others. She also expressed her love for the fan-arts of her character that she receives constantly. She said,

Oscar Isaac Feels Moon Knight Should Return Only if There’s a Great Story
Ever since the end of the Moon Knight series two years ago, fans have been wanting to see more of the character in the MCU. The finale ended on a cliffhanger teasing several exciting opportunities that can be explored in the future. Oscar Isaac told Comicbook.com that while there has been slight chatter about Moon Knight’s future, nothing has been set in stone yet.
Isaac stated that whether Moon Knight returns in an Avengers film, a second season, or a standalone film, the story will always come first in his decision to return as the character. He told Comicbook.com,
“There have been some specific conversations. Whether [Moon Knight returns] in a group thing or maybe a great idea comes around for a Season Two or if it’s a standalone film or whatever it could be, I think it’s just approaching it… story first.”
Isaac has expressed his desire to see the character join the Midnight Suns. It remains to be seen whether Marvel Studios will bring back the character in the MCU’s future. Fans can watch Moon Knight on Disney+.
