After meeting her co-star Ryan Gosling on the set of Barbie, Robbie is inspired to have a baby of her own. The actor got married in 2016 to English film producer, and actor Tom Ackerley and she’s looking forward to starting a new journey of raising a kid.
Margot Robbie Is Ready To Be a Mother
The success of Barbie kept Margot Robbie on the buzz for quite a while but now her desperate urge to have a child with her husband Tom Ackerley, 33, has got an acute public attention. As reported by Touch Weekly, a source close to her said that she is ready to focus on family planning.
“Margot’s always wanted kids with Tom, but it was a matter of timing. She reached her peak with Barbie and feels like she can step back a bit. She wants to have a baby and she’s really looking forward to this next phase of her life,” a source told Touch Weekly (via Yahoo Entertainment).
Further, the source hinted at the 33-year-old’s break from the showbiz. “She also worried that if she got pregnant she’d feel torn between work and her kids,” the source said. “Margot wants to experience pregnancy” as the actor has started reading about pregnancy and parenting.
The Inspiration From Ryan Gosling
Robbie’s Barbie co-star Ryan Gosling has inspired The Wolf of Wall Street star as he shared his happy marriage with Eva Mendes. The actor also talked a lot about their two daughters, Esmeralda Amada, 9, and Amada Lee, 7 to Robbie which in a way inspired her to think of having kids of her own. Robbie also witnessed Gosling’s happy moments with his family when his wife and children visited him on set.
“Ryan would talk about his kids all the time when they were filming. Watching how he and Eva interact with their kids really got the baby pangs going for Margot,” the source explained.
In an earlier report, a source told Closer that the thought of having kids has been on her mind for quite a while. “It’s hard to even imagine carving that time out in schedule,” the source said (via Mirror) “But she’s essentially her our boss as she works on movies that are through her own production company – so she can call the shots when the time is right,” they added. Further, the source claimed that Robbie is very different when she’s not working. She transforms herself into a traditional wife and has always been thankful for having Ackerley by her side.
