Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was released on October 20, 2023, and soon after its release, it started to break records. People had predicted that with two Spider-Man together, Insomniac Games were in for something big. The hype and their expectations sky-rocketed, but the video game was inch-perfect and delivered everything the gaming community hoped for.
Most people from the gaming community had pre-ordered the game since they could not wait to buy it after its release. But everyone is not so lucky. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has officially only been released for PlayStation 5. So, only people who have it can play it. It might be released for PC years later, but people will find playing it challenging since the speculated PC requirements will be expensive, and not everyone can afford it.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Speculated PC System Requirements
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has only been released for PlayStation 5. But people hope it will be released for PC in the future, just like its predecessor. But even if it is released years later, there is no guarantee that everyone will be able to play it because the specifications will be extremely high. Extremely high graphics will not be cheap to get.

The reason for extremely high requirements is that the video game’s animation and cut scenes are made with absolute precision, which can only be enjoyed under the best graphics. Moreover, everyone will like to enjoy the game to the fullest without any lagging. With that in mind, here are the speculated minimum system requirements for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5 8400/ AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- Memory: 12 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 1070/ AMD Radeon RX Vega 56
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 90 GB
Combining all the minimum requirements, the cost comes to $1000 to $1200, which is too much for a video game. Moreover, a person can easily buy a PlayStation 5 and all its accessories within this price limit. While these specifications will allow Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to run smoothly on PC, it won’t be enough to make it run at 60 fps.
Now that the minimum specifications are done let’s get into the required specifications for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
- OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11
- Processor: Intel Core i7 8700K/ AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GTX 3070/ AMD RX 6800 XT
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 90 GB
The requirement specifications to play Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC are too expensive. For regular gamers who want to play for the fun of it, they will not be able to do so. These specifications are for professionals who want the absolute best experience without compromise. These specifications are enough to run the game at 60 fps without lagging.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Might Too Expensive To Play On PC
The question surrounding Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s PC release date remains unanswered. The gaming community wants to know when it will be released. There have been no answers or hints from Insomniac Games. They are currently busy with the game on the PlayStation 5 console. But if Marvel’s Spider-Man (2018) is considered, people will see that it was released 2-3 years later.
By that logic, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to hit the PCs in 2025-2026. But even if it is released, there is no guarantee that everyone can play it. Both the minimum and required specifications are costly. On top of that, the gaming community needs to have a better cabinet to support those high-end graphics requirements.
The system requirements are still speculated and predicted based on the PlayStation 5 system requirements. It will be interesting to see if Insomniac Games changes the PC specifications for the game or keeps it the same in case they ever decide to launch it for PC.
