As per the Ranker website, Chandler Bing (played by Matthew Perry) has been voted as the second funniest TV character ever. Based on 18,217 votes, Perry’s character has secured the second spot. However, if we were to know who is the most favorite FRIENDS character among fans, it is for sure Bing himself! With a total of 169,000 votes on the same website, he has topped the list of the best characters of the sitcom. 

There are many reasons why fans love Bing! From giving quick one-liners and self-deprecating jokes to having common insecurities that we face in our lives, he is truly our friend. However, this character was only brought to life due to our beloved actor who made sure to give us the best laughter through his iconic portrayal. He continued to bring several comical moments throughout the show’s ten-season run which fans from all across the world treasure even now. His character is even ranked first in the best 1990s TV characters list.

But, through his seven-season journey, we saw him becoming a thoughtful mentor who tries to be a good friend to his employees. Other than his complex characteristics, his unique comedy style further amplifies his charms.

However, Perry has left a void feeling in our hearts which we all felt after hearing about his demise. He passed away at the age of 54 on October 28 at his Los Angeles home. As per TMZ, law enforcement sources stated that there were no drugs found at the scene. There were also no signs of foul play.
