Last March developer Mojang accidentally included prototype ray tracing support on a preview build available to Xbox insiders. Soon after the discovery, the code was removed with Mojang issuing a statement saying:

In other news, on Thursday the 17th of August Microsoft announced that it will be closing its Xbox 360 storefront as of next year. At the moment, it is set to close on July 29th, 2024, which still gives gamers plenty of time to purchase any titles that will be lost when the closure happens. According to analysis from VGC around 220 digital-only titles will essentially no longer be available for purchase after the closure.
