In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, players will be able to return to the tradition of unlocking Mastery Camos, stylish camos for the game’s nurses and equipment through challenging tasks that put each fan’s skill and/or dedication to the test. In the community, these camos are considered a symbol of prestige and skill among players on a battlefield, which is why they are so coveted by those most immersed in the game’s competitive scene. To unlock them, each player needs to demonstrate proficiency with various weapons by overcoming challenges within the game, from headshots to opponents, to long-distance kills, among other varied series of tasks that push the player to their skill limit.
All Mastery Camos In Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 And How You Can Get Them
Modern Warfare 3 gains an additional layer of emotion with this search for camouflages that represent the achievement of formidable challenges on the part of the player and like every human being, there is also an important portion of competitiveness, as if it were a race for these trophies. To boast cosmetics on the virtual battlefield, more than 900 camos have been added, including those returning from the previous game, but of course, most are basic variations and there are essentially 12 of them to be unlocked through challenges.

As stated, there are twelve new Mastery Camos confirmed to be available in Modern Warfare 3 so far, and they are divided into 3 sets of 4, namely New Modern Warfare 3 Mastery Camos (Multiplayer), MW3 Mastery Camos (Zombies), and the new MW2 Zombies Mastery Camos. It seems strange because Modern Warfare 2 didn’t have a Zombies mode, so these camos can be considered as new Mastery Camos for the old weapons.
Starting with the 4 new Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer Mastery Camos (Gilded, Forged, Priceless, and Interstellar) can only be applied to MW3 weapons and are unlocked by leveling each weapon up to a specific level and completing a challenge for each weapon. As for the Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Mastery Camos (Golden Enigma, Zircon Scale, Serpentinite, and Borealis), they are obtained by playing Zombies mode using MW3 weapons and cannot be applied to MW2 weapons.
Finally, the Modern Warfare 2 Zombie Mastery Camos (Golden Ivory, Spinel Husk, Arachnida, Bioluminescent) which are completely new camouflages that are unlocked for the old weapons are also unlockable when playing Modern Warfare 3‘s Zombies mode. Of course, each of the Camos has its challenge package that will cost a good chunk of your time, gameplay, and patience to get them all.
Many players may not understand the appeal of a simple weapon skin, but this tradition is now part of Call of Duty player culture. It’s also not very unusual if you’re used to the gaming community since whenever there are items like these that represent prestige and skill within a multiplayer environment, many will do everything they can to come out as superior, even if sometimes this competitiveness isn’t so healthy.
