Jade
Jade, while perhaps not as widely recognized as characters like Kitana or Sonya Blade in the Mortal Kombat franchise, remains one of the series’ popular and iconic figures. Tati Gabrielle will be portraying her in the film.
Jade’s longevity is attributed to her Edenian physiology, granting her an extended lifespan. Despite being considered youthful by Edenian standards, she has accumulated over ten millennia of life experience and combat training. Jade’s combat skills extend beyond hand-to-hand combat, as she is proficient with various weapons such as steel fans, a bo staff, and razor-edged boomerangs. Her versatility in both armed and unarmed combat makes her a formidable adversary in the Mortal Kombat universe.
Kitana
Kitana is a formidable combatant in the Mortal Kombat universe, boasting proficiency in both armed and unarmed combat. Her signature weapon, the Steel Fans, serves as both a projectile and melee tool. On top of that, Kitana possesses Edenian/Wind magic, allowing her to create tornadoes with her fans. She exhibits magical abilities like short/long-distance teleportation and limited flight.
Kitana’s agility is remarkable, enabling swift kicks, fast fist attacks, and acrobatic moves. Her strength is evident in powerful throws, and precise strikes to vital areas such as the chest, throat, and knees, making her a lethal warrior. Kitana’s blows are potent enough to send opponents flying with uppercuts or cause severe injuries with frontal hand-palm attacks.
In fact, she has demonstrated the ability to lift a fully grown man with just one hand, showcasing her formidable strength quite a few times. Adeline Rudolph will be portraying her in the film.

Shao Kahn
Shao Kahn is an Outworlder and possesses superhuman strength, speed, durability, stamina, and resilience, surpassing most creatures. As a skilled sorcerer, he can wield potent magic comparable to gods, casting spells, consuming souls, and generating destructive energy blasts. With over 10 thousand years of age, Shao Kahn is nearly immortal, allowing him to clone, revive, and heal, making him nearly immune to death and able to withstand severe wounds. Martyn Ford will be portraying him in the film.

Johnny Cage
Johnny Cage, despite his materialistic demeanor, is a highly skilled warrior with expertise in various martial arts, including Karate. Trained by different martial arts masters, he has mastered several unique fighting styles and is proficient in using firearms and military equipment.
In addition to his exceptional human abilities, Johnny Cage possesses superhuman powers inherited from a Mediterranean war cult. These powers include the ability to propel himself forward, enhance the strength of his blows, create afterimages of green and red colors during shadow attacks, and launch energy blasts. He will be portrayed by Karl Urban in the movie.
Quan Chi
Quan Chi seamlessly combines martial arts with sorcery, showcasing versatility in combat. In addition to his strategic prowess, Quan Chi exhibits impressive physical strength, evident in his fatalities and brutalities, where he can destroy an opponent’s head by slamming it on the ground or stomping on it continuously. Damon Herriman will be playing him in Mortal Kombat 2
Queen Sindel
Sindel is highly skilled in physical combat, engaging her enemies in hand-to-hand combat while incorporating her magical abilities. One of her distinctive powers involves stretching her hair to tie up or ensnare her opponents. She is renowned for her sonic screech attack, capable of stunning or even causing the heads of her foes to explode with high-frequency sound waves.
Sindel can utilize her sonic abilities to incapacitate enemies and follow up with physical attacks. After absorbing Shang Tsung’s powers, her strength and magic are doubled, allowing her to effortlessly defeat Earthrealm Warriors. In addition to all that, Sindel possesses the ability to levitate, using it strategically in battle.
