Already packed with a bunch of fan-favorite characters, MultiVersus is adding more of them to the roster. Intriguingly, they all share a common trait, madness. One of them, Banana Guard, is already doing the rounds on the internet, as an official character reveal trailer was released by the developers. It sure seems interesting.

The game is set for release later this month, but players have already caught a glimpse of it during the beta test. It seems to be a fun nostalgic ride, given the characters from fan-favorite animated series’ will be there.

Up until now, MultiVersus had too many colors but the devs decided to put something dark to it. However, it would actually end up being more fun if there’s no gruesome element in there. Jason Voorhees, the hockey goalie mask killer from the Friday the 13th series, is rumored to be added to the game’s roster.

The game brings together several Warner Bros. characters, including Batman, Bugs Bunny, The Iron Giant, and more, as shown in the official trailer. But fans have speculated, based on leaks and rumors, that several other characters will join the WB gang in the game.

A user dubbed AusilMV shared an image containing metadata indicates that Jason Voorhees might be joining the roster. This might be the first time Voorhees will not be seen spilling players’ guts.

Even his animated version in the American sitcom Family Guy wasn’t really inclined toward sparing people from meeting the edge of his sword. Nevertheless, the theme of the game is in itself assuring that we won’t see any blood trickling down in the WB fighters’ arena.

There’s a Whole Bunch of Characters in WB Universe Waiting Out There

As a crossover fighting game, we can expect every single character from the Warner Bros. universe to enter the fighting arena. This is also something where WB fans can give more thought to their speculations. From Harry Potter to Sheldon Cooper, only the sky is the limit to the imagination here.

Batman’s archnemesis, The Joker, will be joining the party too. Though the character has been revealed already, he is yet to join the official list. The official roster currently features 23 characters, excluding The Joker and Banana Guard. Nevertheless, the list is likely to grow significantly as the game advances.

MultiVersus will feature a couple of in-game currencies, Gold and Gleamium. While the former can be earned from in-game fights, the latter is paid for. Gold can buy characters, and Gleamium can add some decorative touch through variants and other related things.

The game has already been well received by critics during its open beta and was set for a re-release, as was announced in March this year. Which characters are you waiting to see in MultiVersus? We would like to know your choices in the comments section below.
