In the span of multiple years, he has seen growth in many ways. Whether it is in regards to fame, wealth, friendships, personalities, or internal growth; there has been an endless supply of all things good for him.

Seeing as much development as he has, the wrestler-turned-actor has his own journey in which he chooses one path over the other. In this case, as well, it would seem as if perhaps Cena is finally ready to let go of his WWE past and fully dedicate himself to acting. That is, perhaps the actor is retiring from wrestling.

John Cena Does Not Think His Body Is Compatible For Wrestling Anymore

John Cena admitted that things are very different for him since he left his dedicated years with the wrestling league. Although years’ worth of effort certainly paid off for him, he believes that now is not a time that he can continue his wrestling journey.

“It was said that I passed the torch to Roman years ago, and he absolutely is the face of the franchise. In my mind, he’s the greatest of all time. I tried to do what I could, and when I did it, it wasn’t the miracle. That’s a testament to your work. But man, I wish I was still there every day. My body can’t do it anymore, and I don’t want to give the consumer a bad product.”

He confirmed that throughout the years it has grown more and more difficult for him to work around his body when it comes to wrestling. His statement even added the fact that even if he got offers to come back and wrestle, he would perhaps decline to do so.

Is John Cena Leaving WWE For Good?

John Cena stated that while his body allowed enough agility for him to act in blockbusters, it was not the same for him when it came to wrestling and fighting. Those days may have been filled with glorious wonder for him, but no more can he continue his WWE career. He reminisced the fact of how lovely it used to be during the days when he would often have a chance in the ring.

After so many years, those days of glory have been turned into mere memories. This could very well be a hint towards the actor confirming his permanent departure from The League and how it might just mark the end of his wrestling career. Whether or not he has quit wrestling is still a mystery and no official statement has been made regarding the same. However, he certainly believed in the fact that he was not looking forward to returning to the ring if it meant being a bad representative for the League itself.
