Canceled Jupiter’s Legacy

Fans of the Jupiter Legacy comic book series, which was released as an ongoing series by Image Comics in May 2020, were devastated to learn that the series had been canceled after only eight issues. The series, written by Mark Millar and drawn by Frank Quitely, was a sequel to Millar’s previous work on The Authority and Superman: Red Son.

The series was critically acclaimed and had a strong fan base, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to keep it going. It seems that the lack of sales was the reason for its cancellation and has left many disappointed.

For those who were invested in the series, the news was a huge letdown as they won’t be able to see how the story would have developed. It’s a shame that such a promising series was unable to make it and those who were looking forward to it will have to settle for the few issues that were released. Hopefully, this cancellation won’t deter Millar and Quitely from creating something new in the future as their work together remains highly regarded.
