As another upcoming October release for the gaming world, Alone in the Dark gets a new mysterious and spooky trailer that has fans of the franchise looking forward to the new game. THQ Nordic also promises news for today amid sinister scenarios.

The new trailer for Alone in the Dark is dark, promises news, and teases at the Dark Man

Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Pieces Interactive revealed another teaser of the new Alone in the Dark title that brings more elements to the game’s setting, such as the narration of a mysterious voice in the background. The video is titled “The Dark Man”, but does not show the character once nor does it present a main villain for the game’s story.

“Don’t say his name. He’s always listening. Learn more on August 2, 2023.” is what the announcement says, so fans, on the date August 2nd, also known as today, you can expect news about the game to hit their radars, whatever it may be if you’re waiting for the title, stay tuned to the game’s social media accounts.

Alone in the Dark is scheduled for release on the 25th of October, but players are already able to guarantee the purchase through the PS Store and/or test the prologue in the free demo to set in the Derceto Manor.

The synopsis promises a return to Derceto Manor in this reimagining of the classic game Alone in the Dark, as a love letter to the original version of the ’90s cult horror. he has asked Grace to help him deliver a letter to his niece, Emily Hartwood, who may be the only one to understand the otherworldly horrors that plague and haunt Jeremy’s mind.

What we do know about the title coming soon to PS5, Xbox Series and PC is that it will have two accessible resolution modes, offering both the 4K experience at 30 FPS and frame rates at 60 FPS on a lower setting of image quality. It’s up to you player whether you’re going to prioritize the game’s image or performance on your device.

Alone in the Dark also embraces the trend of using famous actors doing motion capture to interpret the game’s characters and for that, THQ Nordic had Jodie Comer (Free Guy) and David Harbor (Stranger Things) live the duo of protagonists who will be haunted in the terrible haunted house.
