It has only been a few weeks since Foamstars was released on PlayStation as an exclusive game, but since its release, it has slowly dropped its player count. However, this could all change with its upcoming Season 2, which will bring with it all new content, characters, missions, and a new season pass.
Currently, Foamstars season 2, which will be known as ‘GROOVY DISCO’ is set to begin on March 9th and already has a long list of content that players should be looking forward to. Hopefully, with this new content on the horizon, players could make a return to the game and enjoy all that this season offers.
Foamstars Season 2 Will Start Strong With a New Character, a New Season Pass, New Game Modes, and So Much More
Let’s start off with the biggest news for Foamstars players, and that is the new character that is coming with the game’s second season. The new character that players will gain access to is a Foamstar known as “Coiff Guy” who was originally teased in the FriYaY event in the first season.
This character will be obtainable in one of two ways: either as an instant unlock upon purchasing the season pass or for free at rank 31 of the season pass. Along with this new character, there will also be new missions for players to complete, which will be missions 4–6.
These missions will allow you to try out the different characters in the game and also take on the “Dark Ramzey” boss battle. If you are looking to experience more of the backstory for each character within Foamstars, these are the best ways to do that, as each mission reveals a portion of their story.
New Seasonal Content in Foamstars Second Season Is Limited, so Try It While You Can!
Even though this new season will bring new content along with it, there will even be some limited-time modes that players can enjoy throughout the season. Currently, there will be three different events that will take place throughout the season, and some players may even recognize one.
For those who are looking to try out “Coiff Guy” without actually purchasing or unlocking him, there is a perfect limited-timed mode called Extreme Party, which will have two modes included in it: one is a 4v4 “Coiff Guy” only battle, which will be available from March 23rd to March 24th, while another Extreme Party mode is a super duel party, which allows players to use any character in a 1v1 battle, which will be available from March 30th to March 31st.
Along with these events, there will also be a ranked party event taking place, which allows players to compete either solo or with a team to earn a rank within the game. The solo-ranked party will take place from March 12th to March 29th, and the team-based ranked party will go from April 5th to April 8th.
Finally, one of the biggest events that will take place in the next season is the FriYaY event. This will allow players to try out the next character that will be coming to Foamstars in the next season of the game, and this event will take place from March 14th to March 17th and April 4th to April 6th.
