It is time for Nintendo fans to sit back and relax as the Switch 2 might not be coming this year. A jacuzzi would be good, but a ‘GameCuzzi’ would be great. The GameCube-inspired hot tub has surfaced on the internet again and the fans cannot keep calm.
GameCube is a sixth-generation console released by the video game company in 2001 which then competed with Sony’s PlayStation 2 and Microsoft’s Xbox. During its lifespan, the console sold 22 million units globally. Unfortunately, the numbers were less than stellar compared to the original sales forecast.
Users Want Hot Tubs Inspired From Other Consoles
Nintendodownunder Collecting, a page on social media website Facebook shared an image of the GameCube hot tub which over 4K users have shared at the time of writing. Users stormed over the post to like and comment on it with many sharing a desire to own the item. User Jazmyne Stanford writes, “I’m starting to get mad I don’t have money for stuff like this.”
A user even confused it with a pinball machine. Vergil Coil wrote that he thought it “was a giant pinball machine or an arcade machine with all the Gamecube games!” One user put forth a demand for a hot tub inspired by a PlayStation. Haley Munster wrote, “OK BUT I WANT AN OG PLAYSTATION ONE.”
For now, she can feast her eyes on a 3D art that one fan dubbed Kidd Gorgeous created in 2021. The same user also shared an Xbox version of the virtual hot tub the following year. For the ones who are wondering, the GameCube-inspired hot tub is actually a customized hot tub which was first shared by a user dubbed Smash JT on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
Switch 2 Delay Hit Hard on The Company Shares
Latest reports suggest that the latest console by the company might release next year. The company will likely annex their fleet of flagship games for the upcoming device given the delay. Last month, Shuntaro Furukawa, Nintendo’s president, called the current Switch company’s “main business.”
The news was hard for the investors as Japanese company’s shares fell 6 percent following the announcement of delay. Nonetheless, the stock has been an immense success as it added over 50 percent in its value last year.
Moreover, this year’s first Direct will reveal upcoming Switch games coming in the first half of 2024. What’s more, Bethesda Software’s Hi-Fi Rush is likely to make its Switch debut this year only. This goes well with the revelation Xbox boss Phil Spencer made during the latest official Xbox podcast. According to him, four games, which he did not revealed, will go multi-platform.
