Jonathan Majors had an integral role in Loki season 2, portraying Victor Timely, a variant of Kang the Conqueror. He along with Loki and the members of the TVA were in a race against time to stop the temporal loom from imploding and destroying the multiverse. Farahani revealed that he was surprised by the severe assault allegations against him but said that Majors was a great actor to work with on set. He told Variety,

“It was a surprise for sure. But I don’t know anything about it, other than to say that we had, honestly, such a great experience on the set. The cast was a wonderful ensemble. They all worked together super well. Tom would have an idea, Jonathan would have ideas, Owen is an idea machine.

The experience on set was without any drama, and just a joy. For me, especially as my first big directing opportunity, I count myself so fortunate to be working with such high-caliber actors that made the directing that much easier for me.”

Majors’ fate will be decided solely based on the outcome of the trial that began its jury section and other deliberations on Wednesday. Marvel is also rumored to be slowly moving away from the Kang storyline and focusing on another iconic villain like Doctor Doom. However, for now, all eyes are on Majors’ trial and what comes of it.
