Jonathan Majors’ professional career has been severely affected by the serious assault allegations against him made by his ex-girlfriend back in March. People started to disassociate with him and he was even dropped by his management team and films that he was supposed to star in. His entire life depends on his trial which began recently.
Some actors and filmmakers who have worked with him have spoken in support of the actor, especially those in the MCU. Anthony Mackie also recently addressed the allegations against Majors and how one should not make any sort of conclusion until the verdict is out.
Anthony Mackie Tells People To Not Make Any Conclusions About Jonathan Majors Yet
Jonathan Majors and his professional career suffered a major blow when he was accused of assault and harassment charges by his ex-girlfriend in March of this year. People started to drop him from everything film, endorsements, and anything that came under his name. With the much-awaited trial started, Majors’ life is literally on the line and everything depends on the trial.
Anthony Mackie recently addressed Majors’ allegations and explained how people should not make any conclusions until the verdict is out. The actor told Inverse that everyone is innocent till proven guilty and people should hold off from making any perception about the actor yet. He said,
“We’re a country that was built on ‘everyone is innocent until proven guilty. That’s one of the staples of this country. Nothing has been proven about this dude. Nothing. So everyone is innocent until proven guilty. That’s all I can say. It’s crazy where we are as a society. But as a country, everyone is innocent until proven guilty.”
Mackie’s statements are reasonable amidst all the chaos and rumors regarding Majors and the trial. The trial will reveal what’s true and what’s fabricated and until then, people must stay tuned for updates that will come out of the trial and then voice their opinions.

Jonathan Majors’ Assault Allegations Did Not Affect His Role in Loki Season 2
Jonathan Majors appeared as Victor Timely in Loki season 2. He had an integral part to play as he aided Loki, Sylvie, and Mobius in efforts to prevent the temporal loom from imploding. Majors and the whole cast had already shot the series in 2022. The executive producer of the show Kevin Wright told Variety that they did not shoot any additional scenes for the show in 2023.
Therefore, Majors’ assault allegations in March of this year did not affect his role in the series in any way. Wright said,
“No. This is maybe — not maybe — this is the first Marvel series to never have any additional photography. The story that is on screen is the story we set out to make. We went out there with a very specific idea of what we wanted this to be, and we found a way to tell it in that production period. It’s very much what’s on-screen on Disney+.”
Majors gave a compelling performance as he showcased a more varied and vulnerable side to the Kang Variant compared to He Who Remains or Ant-Man 3‘s Kang, which fans appreciated. As far as his future in the MCU is concerned, everything depends on his current trial and its outcome.
