While Marvel’s Avengers films went on to become huge blockbusters, DC’s Justice League unfortunately did not have similar luck. Despite huge superstars like Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot lending their name to the franchise along with director Zack Snyder’s ambitious vision, the film did not set the box office on fire. Further, Joss Whedon taking over from Snyder mid-way through the film, threw up a ton of issues on and off-set.

Fans Questioned The Fate Of The Mother Box In Zack Snyder’s Justice League

After the dismal reception that Justice League got on its release, it was up to Zack Snyder to redeem the film for ardent DC fans. The filmmaker did just that through his Snyder Cut that ran for 4 hours, and incorporated all of his initial visions for the film. While DC buffs lauded Snyder’s efforts, they also proved why they were extremely knowledgeable fans as well, with their analysis of certain scenes in the film that were not up to the mark.

Justice League
Fans questioned the narrative of the Mother Boxes in Zack Snyder’s Justice League

One of the aspects of Zack Snyder’s Justice League that fans questioned, was the fate of the Mother Box. As known through the narrative, the Amazons, the Atlanteans, and the humans, were each entrusted with a Mother Box. While the first two groups uncompromisingly protected it and even risked their lives in the process, fans noted that the humans did not display similar caution.

As a result, the humans’ strategy of digging a hole and dropping the Mother Box in it, backfired big time, as it became extremely easy and obvious to find. This unconvincing hiding spot ultimately led Steppenwolf to track the Mother Box without much sweat. This lack of conviction led DC fans to criticize Zack Snyder’s decision-making in the film.

Justice League
More than 10 % of shots in Zack Snyder’s Justice League were in slow motion.

Snyder, who is known to favor a lot of slow-motion shots in his films, used this technique generously in Justice League, which, according to reports, made up a little over 10% of the whole film. While slow motion is an extremely effective tool to incorporate in certain scenes, many fans felt that it was not needed in most. parts of the Justice League.
