The superhero quartet Fantastic Four created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby will be hitting the theatres in 2025 as a part of an MCU project featuring Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, alongside Vanessa Kirby and others. The announcement came recently after Marvel dropped a Valentine-themed Fantastic Four post on Instagram.
Meanwhile, after Marvel’s Fantastic Four post confirming the main cast of the film, Oppenheimer star David Krumholtz took to his X account to express his desire. Willing to appear in MCU, the actor noted how Marvel is yet to disclose the villain for the upcoming movie, which leaves the door open for Krumholtz to grab the opportunity. Not just that, he also shared an image of which supervillain he wants to play.
Marvel Announced the Official Cast for Fantastic Four
We finally have the official cast announcement for Marvel’s upcoming Fantastic Four. Dropping a Valentine’s Day-themed post on Instagram, Marvel Studios announced the four official cast for the film. Bringing in Pedro Pascal as the iconic Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic, Marvel chose Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm aka The Invisible Woman, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm aka The Thing, and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch.
Dropping the Valentine’s themed post, Marvel also hinted at the long-standing relationship between Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards and Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm. According to Marvel Comics, Sue was a college student who was exposed to extreme cosmic radiation, after her boyfriend and scientist Reed Richards took her into space in the stolen rocket Marvel-1, alongside Ben and Johnny. Thereafter, all of them mutated as a result of the radiation.
Following that event, the group of four who went to space became the Fantastic Four. And thereafter, as a team of adventurers, they started exploring space, time, and alternate dimensions, while also saving the human race from science-based threats. Meanwhile, the Fantastic Four faced challenges from comic book villains like Doctor Doom, Mole Man, and more. But unfortunately, as of now, Marvel has yet to announce the ultimate villain for the upcoming movie.
David Krumholtz Wants to Play Marvel Villain in Pedro Pascal’s Film
Following Marvel’s official cast announcement about Pedro Pascal’s upcoming Fantastic Four movie, it was reported via The Direct, that Victor von Doom aka Doctor Doom, has currently “yet to be cast”. Further, as per Jeff Sneider’s reports corroborated by Screen Time, it was noted that Doctor Doom will have a disappointing appearance at the end of the film, despite being a major villain in the comics.
After the alleged reports about Doctor Doom’s appearance at the very end of the film hit the internet, Oppenheimer actor David Krumholtz took to his X account to express his desire to appear in the film. Since Marvel has yet to announce the ultimate villain for the movie, Krumholtz’s desire to appear as a wicked threat in the film perfectly coincides with the X reports surrounding Pedro Pascal’s movie. Pitching himself as a terrifying villain, the actor even shared the image of the character he wants to play.
Although fans are hoping to see Doctor Doom in the upcoming Fantastic Four, David Krumholtz claimed that he wants to play Mole Man. Addressing fans’ demands for Doctor Doom, Krumholtz implied that in case Marvel wants to start on a smaller scale than expected, they can always have Mole Man as the villain. Claiming that he will always be ready to appear as the short and stout Marvel villain, Krumholtz drew attention with his tweet.

Currently, it’s still unknown which villain will feature in Pedro Pascal’s Fantastic Four. But since the main cast has been officially announced, fans believe the villain will soon be disclosed. But until then, Oppenheimer star David Krumholtz wishes to pitch himself as Mole Man, in case Marvel plans to go with the next biggest threat to the Fantastic Four after Doctor Doom.
Pedro Pascal’s Fantastic Four will hit the theatres on July 25, 2025.
