Marvel’s Moon Knight, when it was released, was regarded as one of the best MCU standalone shows of all time. Oscar Isaac’s portrayal of Moon Knight was hailed as near perfect, with fans expecting a season two soon. Even though the next season hasn’t been confirmed, Marvel has been dropping easter eggs all over, hinting at what might be Moon Knight’s next appearance or potential future plot.
While Marvel teased the presence of Kang variant Rama-Tut, potentially hinting at the Egyptian Pharaoh being the villain in Moon Knight Season 2, set photos from the highly anticipated Deadpool 3 seem to reveal Oscar Isaac might be teaming up with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight To Be In Deadpool 3?

It is been anticipated and rumored that after Avengers: Endgame, Ryan Reynold‘s Deadpool 3 is going to be the mother of all team-ups and crossovers. And recent photos from the set seem to confirm that these rumors might be right after all. In photos published on the X account @CanWeGetToast, one can spot the von Darrelman Cupcake’s Van which Steven Grant uses to escape when confronted by the Disciples of Ammit in an episode on Moon Knight (via Fandom Wiki).
Although Oscar Isaac wasn’t spotted in the set photos, these photos hint at the potential appearance of Isaac’s Moon Knight in Deadpool 3, ahead of his rumored appearance in Secret Wars. Meanwhile, this news took the fans by surprise, who claimed it would be an epic crossover if Isaac did end up with Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
However, this is not the only crossover the photos hint at. The place seems to be The Void (where pruned people are exiled), as seen in Loki, and other vehicles on the set appear to be Red Skull’s 1942 Supercharged V16 Behemoth as well as Steve Rogers’s bike from Captain America: The First Avenger. Furthermore, Jackman’s Wolverine seems to have 2-3 swords stuck inside him, while Sabertooth stands beside him on set, hinting at their potential ‘reunion’.
Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight To Be In Secret Wars?
Oscar Isaac’s rumored appearance in Avengers: Secret Wars is a result of Egyptian Pharoah Rama-Tut’s existence in the MCU. After multiple hints of his presence as the Kang variant, Tut was finally spotted in one of the end credit scenes of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. This hints that he might be one of the potential villains in Marvel’s future projects.
Thanks to Moon Knight being so engrossed in Egyptian Mythology and Marc Spectator and Grant serving the Egyptian God of the Moon aka Khonshu, Rama-Tut being the villain in Moon Knight season 2 seems more likely. Furthermore, with similar plots already present within the comics, the possibility of Moon Knight going head-to-head with the Kang variant is greater.
Even though there has been no announcement of Moon Knight Season 2 yet, it is rumored that it might premiere before Avengers: Secret Wars. Hence, with Isaac’s possible appearance in Deadpool 3, and the rumors of him taking down a Kang variant in a potential Moon Knight Season 2, his presence in Avengers: Secret Wars is all the more likely (via The Direct).
Deadpool 3 is expected to release on July 26, 2024.
