How do we access the Payday 3 Beta?

A second Beta test is available this weekend until 11 September

Those who are interested in accessing the Beta should check out the Payday 3 Steam page and from there, request access to the technical test. It’s said to be an open beta, so that means that it should be accessible to all who want to join. But as stated earlier, this is only for this weekend until 11 September.

Starbreeze Studios, the developers of Payday 3 are asking those players who are looking to access the Beta to log on at specific times. This reasoning behind this is so that the servers can really be put through their paces ahead of launch day.

And looking at the Payday 3 official Twitter/X page, a recent post states that the game has been experiencing matchmaking issues and that players should bare with them while they work through the issue;

Out of retirement and straight back into the life of crime

And following this post, there were more issues being flagged up by players;

“Not sure if you guys are aware or not but the controller support for console feels really lacking in this build, I hope it’s smoothed out a little for full release. I’m sure it’s not too bad but paired with the 45fps it’s just hard to put up with.” – @TGlowstik

“Please extend the beta, I’ve tried to play both last night and a few times over the past 4 hours. In total I’ve managed to play 3 matches.” – @max_eek

“FPS and smoothness on high end PC system is not great here, seeming poor optimisation in this build.” – @angelvluk

But at least these issues are being flagged up now rather than upon launch, right?
