The Madame Web Star, who jokingly refused to associate herself with the movie, detailed her plans heading into Hollywood, accompanied by a shocking backup plan she had stored if things went awry.

Sydney Sweeney‘s rise in Hollywood isn’t looking to slow down anytime soon, as even though her recent feature Madame Web was panned by critics and fans alike, it hasn’t impacted her stardom. During her SNL debut monologue, the actor put her comedic chops to display, as in a self-deprecating manner, she stressed “People only see me as the girl who screams, cries and has s*x”.
Apart from introducing her real self, Sweeney stated that she had a five-point plan before heading into Hollywood, which involved “Audition, get an agent, do commercials and short films, then get my SAG Card”. But she also had a bold plan stored, which resulted in the audience bursting into laughter.
“I feel like people only see me as the girl on TV who screams, cries and has s-x. Sometimes it’s all three at the same time… I presented them with a five-point plan to break into acting. It was a PowerPoint presentation and I still have it. … It says, ‘Audition, get an agent, do commercials and short films, then get my SAG Card.’ But if that failed I also presented them with a backup plan, next slide,” which read “Show b–bs”.
Sydney Sweeney isn’t done showcasing her versatility, as in her monologue, she talked about her upcoming film, Immaculate, which will see her delve into the realm of horror and mystery as a Nun.

During her monologue, Sweeney further proceeded to tackle the dating rumors with Glen Powell that surfaced following their time in Anyone but You. While she debunked those claims, stating her fiancé, Jonathan Davino, helped produce the film, after she asked the camera to cut to her fiancé in the audience, it cut to Glen Powell, leaving everyone in stitches.
“And I just want to let everyone know that he’s the man of my dreams, and we’re still together and stronger than ever,” Sweeney said. “He even came here tonight to support me. Can we cut to him?”
With the audience bursting into laughter, the Euphoria Star clarified that’s not her fiancé, stating that Davino is in the dressing room.
