Many celebs, influencers, and media figures advise others to abstain from eating meat in order to save the environment, help animals, and benefit the user with a healthy life. However, although veganism has piqued the interest of many people, it is not for everybody. Miley Cyrus, a singer, stated she ate a plant-based meal for seven years before adding fish to her daily regimen. She revealed she modified her diet due to health concerns in an interview on “The Joe Rogan Experience” show. “I was vegan for a very long time and I’ve had to introduce fish and omegas into my life because my brain wasn’t functioning properly,” she said. Cyrus claimed in the chat that she now counts herself as a pescatarian, which is a vegetarian who eats fish. Despite this, the singer stated that she genuinely loves animals. Earlier, the artist had been a vocal supporter of the vegan lifestyle.

However, in her Netflix stand-up comedy special from 2019, she said “I’m not really vegan, I say it for the joke. I was vegan for eight years and I really believe that it’s great for you.” She also added,  “I was healthier than I’d ever been, I loved being vegan. But just in the last year or two for no reason really, I started eating a piece of fish once in a while.”

3. Liam Hemsworth and Chris Hemsworth had to quit due to health concerns:

The Hemsworth siblings are Hollywood A-listers who have been in a number of blockbusters. While Miley Cyrus inspired Chris to pursue a vegan diet in order to lose weight and enhance his health, Liam’s objective was the same. However, due to medical reasons, both brothers had to drop out of the diet. While Liam was suffering from a severe kidney stone that could have been produced by a high oxalate diet as a result of his enhanced vegetable intake. Chris also eventually needed to boost his protein intake for his health.

Anne Hathaway became a vegan after shooting for her role as Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, and her wedding also featured a vegan dinner. She did, however, cease her veganism when dining with Interstellar co-star Matt Damon and her husband at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Iceland. She explained in an interview: “So then I was the only chick and I’m the vegan and everyone’s just going with the flow. So I asked, “Is your fish local?” And they said: “Do you see that fjord?” So I had a piece of salmon and my brain felt like a computer rebooting.” The actress now adheres to a paleo diet, which includes fish, dairy, and poultry.

She also did it because she was already “kind of lactose intolerant.” But, as she revealed to Women’s Health in 2013, she has matured into a “practical vegan,” meaning that if she orders something off a menu and it has a dusting of cheese on top, she will not return it.
