The Protector of Hell’s Kitchen is all set to return to the screens after a long time with Daredevil: Born Again. Yet, as happy with anticipation about his return as fans are, some of the updates about the upcoming show aren’t making it seem all too appreciable, especially the most recent potential spoiler about an MCU hero.

As it seems according to recent reports, there are chances that a major hero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, whom fans had been waiting to see for so long, just might end up dying in the most bothersome way possible. And fans won’t be happy about it if this comes true, considering how the hero in the talk is none other than the fan-favorite White Tiger, aka Hector Ayala.

While fans desperately await Charlie Cox to reprise his role as the iconic street-fighting superhero, Matt Murdock isn’t the only one they’ve been patiently manifesting to see in the upcoming series: Hector Ayala aka The White Tiger is another character massively anticipated following the revelation about his casting.

However, this recent update won’t sit all too well with fans. As shared by @marvel_updat3s on X, the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen’s upcoming show will reportedly see Frank Castle appearing in three episodes. But he won’t be the one to put an end to Hector Ayala in a brutal brawl. Instead, the latter is rumored to be killed by a dirty cop using The Punisher’s logo.

Though this is still a rumor yet to be confirmed, it backs up the previous stories and leaked clips from the soon-to-be-released Disney+ series sets. According to spoilers from the set shared by Rick Legendary on YouTube, Castle was seen confronting Ayala in the most un-mysterious way and gunning him down just like that.

But what was to be noticed here was the fact that the clip or the photos shared later by @AnthonyweinVO on X didn’t show the person who held the gun and shot Hector Ayala in the head’s face clearly. This is why this recent rumor about it being a dirty cop using Castle’s logo might as well turn out to be true.

Yet, once again, that’s exactly where the problem lies. If this indeed turns out to be true, then not only would fans have to see the White Tiger losing his life after so desperately manifesting his onscreen appearance, but they will have to see him die down into darkness without even putting up a fight. Which, not to mention, is so not cool.

While this is still a rumored spoiler, fans are already devastated about Hector Ayala’s reported death in the most undeserving and unpleasing way possible. If anything, these reports only point at and prove just how unclassily the fan-favorite MCU hero dies. Thus, here’s how all those angry fans are reacting to this rumored spoiler on X:

Needless to say, if these rumors turn out to be true, they could be a massive blow and attract more than just enough negative reviews, tremendously impacting the show’s rating and appreciation from fans. Thus, for now, let’s just hope they aren’t true, and if they are, then Marvel needs to do anything and everything they can to do it better.

Daredevil: Born Again currently holds a scheduled premiere date of 2025 on Disney+.
