There have been too many leaks and rumors about GTA 6 surfacing on the internet these last few months. Although not too convincing, these have still led some fans to believe that we could get to hear something official about the much-awaited title from Rockstar Games. In between all these, a new piece of information has made its way from Chris Marxx, a self-proclaimed gaming industry analyst and insider.
GTA 6 Preview Campaign is Allegedly Underway

Chris Marxx previously claimed that GTA 6 will be announced on October 26 by Rockstar Games and has now shared some new information. According to Chris Marxx, the GTA 6 preview campaign is underway and the developers will soon provide further details on the game after it is announced. Marxx posted on X, formerly Twitter, stating:
“I am pleased to confirm that the preview campaign for Grand Theft Auto VI is underway, with Rockstar Games actively reaching out to journalists and influential figures within the industry. Previews of the game will be available shortly following the official announcement.”
He further added,
“I can unequivocally confirm that an announcement will be followed by previews very soon.”

Although Marxx has correctly predicted some game announcements in the past, his claims are still not convincing enough to a lot of players. As per Marxx, Rockstar Games has contacted journalists and “influential figures” in the gaming industry and the company will release previews soon after the announcement. It is not yet known what these previews will be.
GTA 6 Leaks Are Not Convincing Enough
Many from the GTA community were skeptical of these claims but Marxx requested them to refrain from him accusing of wrong information before October 26th. The insider had also stated that Rockstar Games would tease the latest entry in the franchise before the announcement date.
While yesterday’s post on X from the developers is being seen as one from some, there have not been any official announcements. Also, while nothing that Marxx stated is confirmed, Rockstar does have a history of going with their game announcements in a similar way.
GTA 5 recently celebrated its 10th anniversary and it was hoped that there would be some announcement regarding the next title but they only got disappointment. Rockstar even suffered from a big leak in 2022, but has still kept everything about GTA 6 close to their chests.
Take-Two Interactive’s CEO hinted at the game’s release sometime in 2025, so there are chances that the community could soon receive some official announcement and Marxx’s revelation only adds to the anticipation.
