There are numerous game modes in Rainbow Six Siege. The game heavily relies on environmental destruction and cooperation between players.

With this game being an online shooter, there is no campaign to complete, but there are offline missions called situations that you can complete that can be played solo. There are also a variety of online game modes where each player takes on the role of an attacker or defender in the various game modes, whether it be rescuing a hostage, defusing a bomb, or even taking control of an objective point within a room.

Many Rainbow Six Siege Fans Are Not Happy with the Updates

Rainbow Six Siege Considered the Game Most Ruined by New Content By Fans
Rainbow Six Siege has a strong following despite criticism.

Various games have updates on a regular basis to fix bugs or release new content. This is meant to bring back players who have previously lost love for the game; it is meant to entice these players to play the game again. Many fans have taken to Reddit to complain about how new content has continuously made the game worse instead of improving Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.

One user took to Reddit to ask the question, Name a game that used to be great, but the constant updating and adding of new content actually made the game worse. A flood of fans were quick to nominate Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. One fan said the following:

“I used to play it a lot about 6 years ago. But they kept changing more and more as time went on. It’s just too much to keep up with. And the story got worse to, what little there was.”

This comment had the most approval by other fans, closely followed by this:

“The endless map ‘reworks’ killed it for me.

Completely ruining my favourite original maps by turning them into horrendous boxes with 100 rooms and corridors.

I couldn’t keep up with the rate of map changes, so my knowledge fell off the cliff and the game just wasn’t fun any more.”

It is safe to say that many of these updates that should improve the game, the fans are less than happy with.

GTA Online was also slammed, along with others

GTA Online is still a popular game regardless of the fans complaints of updates.

GTA Online still has a substantial following, considering it was released over 10 years ago. Clearly, many fans are still happy to play the game on a regular basis. A few people who used to play the game said they were unhappy with the introduction of flying bikes with rockets. One Reddit user said the following:

“Came to say the exact same thing, had tons of fun racing and doing heists and then BOOM (literally). Suddenly there’s griefers on sky bikes and laser tanks everywhere and the experience is ruined.”

So some of the GTA Online fans claim that the updates have ruined the game.

I'm a father first, gamer second, but I do love gaming. I own multiple consoles and if I have a second, one of them is switched on. Between Marvel, Spurs and gaming I'm a stereotypical nerd.
